Strut Your Mutt!

On Saturday, Molly and I participated in the 3rd annual STRUT YOUR MUTT to raise money for No More Homeless Pets in Utah. It was such a blast! It turned out to be a HUGE event. There were over 2,000 dogs there! Molly was excited as soon as I turned into the parking lot and she could see all of the other dogs walking around.

I met Katie and Mickie and their cute (and super huge) dogs there. My grandparents were in town from St. George that weekend so they, along with my other grandma, met us there as well. It was so fun to have them there! Molly loves all of them, and my cute grandpa snapped some great pictures of us along the walk.

After all the dogs and walkers were gathered up we started on our 1.5 mile walk around the park. Molly did so great! She was a champ...it was quite the walk for her little legs. She's spoiled and got to be carried towards the end because she was so tired. But she finished strong and raced the other dogs to the finish line!!

At the finish line they had tons of entertainment. There were millions of vendors giving away treats and contests for the dogs. Mickie's dog, a GIANT Alaskan Malamute, won for biggest dog!!

Once we were done with the festivities, me and my grandparents went to lunch at Applebee's. I had been craving it for a while and it definitely hit the spot!

We will for sure be doing this event next year for anyone who wants to join us!!
