I'm BACK!!!

I finally have a computer again! whoo hooo!!! I have so so much to write about so I'll be posting a big one tonight!

This month has been crazy busy like usual!!

UPDATE!!!

I know its been forever since I've posted anything on this blog. I have been SOOO busy...two jobs, finishing an online class, and trying to keep a social life hasn't left me with a lot of extra time on my hands. Here's a quick recap of whats been going on lately...

Hanging out with Jake....working on our golfing skills, heading to St. George next weekend to see my parents, and looking at dates for something special :)

Eating way too much sushi with my girl Ally....I'm seriously addicted. Its a problem...and expensive one!

Celebrating birthdays, planning summer vacations, and quality girl time, and getting excited for Mickie's wedding!

I have tons of fun things coming up soon so I'll be back soon!!!

A change is coming....

Gosh, what a year this is off to already!! I GOT A PROMOTION! I am sooo excited for this new challenge. I feel so lucky to be working for a company that encourages and allows growth. Its a pretty big step up for me and I can't wait to see where it might lead. I start today, and luckily I'm already a little trained but I'm still pretty nervous....wish me luck!!

Little America

Every year on the first Sunday of year the Hamblins and their good friends the Johnsons go to the most wonderful brunch at Little America. They have every thing you could possibly imagine and its all soo soo good! I was so happy I had Sunday off of work so that I could go...my favorite thing has got to be the chocolate fountain with so many things to dip in it! Not the healthies thing to eat for breakfast but I figure eating chocolate for breakfast one day out of the year won't hurt :)

I tried really hard to get a decent picture of the two of us (well of Jake actually smiling)...had two cameras going and this is the best one I got...

After our fabulous breakfast Jake took me to see Yes Man. I thought it was pretty funny. I wish I was the type of person that said YES to more things...maybe I'll add that to my new years resolutions...

Happy New Year! (a little late i know!) I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season! Mine was great. I had to work during most of it but was lucky enough to have ALL of Christmas day off. It was such a good day. Christmas Eve I got off work early and me and Jake took my Grandma out to lunch since I wouldn't be able to go to the annual family party. After I had to get some last minute shopping done so I headed over to Target...where I made the NEWS! Channel 4 news was there filming all the last minute shoppers....check it out here!

Christmas day was amazing as usual. Jake and I went snowmobiling after all the presents were open and things were winding down. It was a BLAST! I can't wait to go again! Jake is a great driver and made sure I didn't fly off when we were cruising 100 mph. It was exhilarating, and we only got stuck once!



New Year's Eve was much more low key this year than normal. I had to work that night so we just headed over to my friend Mindy's house (she happens to be the manager and was working as well) and played some games and hung out. Normally we make New Years a big thing but it was nice to just hang out with friends. We had a great time! I love starting a new year and feeling, at least for a little while, that I have a clean slate to work with. I've been completely decluttering and simplifiying life and it feels so good.

And the next step for the new year....new hair!! out with the blond...

In with something new....I still haven't decided. But my lovely cousin Tiffanee will be doing something fabulous to it tonight. I can't wait!
