Happy New Year! (a little late i know!) I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season! Mine was great. I had to work during most of it but was lucky enough to have ALL of Christmas day off. It was such a good day. Christmas Eve I got off work early and me and Jake took my Grandma out to lunch since I wouldn't be able to go to the annual family party. After I had to get some last minute shopping done so I headed over to Target...where I made the NEWS! Channel 4 news was there filming all the last minute shoppers....check it out here!

Christmas day was amazing as usual. Jake and I went snowmobiling after all the presents were open and things were winding down. It was a BLAST! I can't wait to go again! Jake is a great driver and made sure I didn't fly off when we were cruising 100 mph. It was exhilarating, and we only got stuck once!



New Year's Eve was much more low key this year than normal. I had to work that night so we just headed over to my friend Mindy's house (she happens to be the manager and was working as well) and played some games and hung out. Normally we make New Years a big thing but it was nice to just hang out with friends. We had a great time! I love starting a new year and feeling, at least for a little while, that I have a clean slate to work with. I've been completely decluttering and simplifiying life and it feels so good.

And the next step for the new year....new hair!! out with the blond...

In with something new....I still haven't decided. But my lovely cousin Tiffanee will be doing something fabulous to it tonight. I can't wait!
